Neonix Reader

Put the reader on your Wi-Fi

Type the network the reader should use. A QR code appears here. Open the Neonix Reader, point its scanner at the code and tap Join.

Exactly as it appears on your router or phone.

Leave empty for an open network.

The code is built in your browser. The network name and password are never sent to Neonix or stored anywhere.

On the reader

  1. Open the Neonix Reader. The scanner is on the main screen.
  2. Point the camera at this code. The reader asks to join the network. Tap Join.
  3. Look at the Wi-Fi indicator in the top bar. It shows the signal once the reader is connected. Tap it for the network name, signal strength and whether the connection reaches the internet.

If it does not connect

  • Wrong password: the reader says so. Check the password and scan again.
  • Joined, no internet: the reader is on your Wi-Fi but the network itself has no connection. Check the router or the captive portal.
  • Guest networks with a login page do not work for the reader. Use a network with a plain password.
